When it came to making our first designer collaboration, there was no discussion – it had to be Nicholas Daley.
It’s a natural partnership and an honour to be working with such a talented peer who has proven, time and time again to be a true champion of the community, voice of the diaspora and a real innovator. For us to be collaborating on these frames is a beautiful, full circle moment.”

The unique frame is a combination of both brands’ aesthetics – bringing together Nicholas Daley’s intricate design and craftsmanship with Sub Sun’s eye for detail and flair for the unexpected.
Crafted with Mazzucchelli acetate, the frame is expertly hand finished, with a unique combination of colours and detailing.
The distinctive frame shape, with its exaggerated curves, gives a subtle nod to the bold and playful nature of the collection, referencing frames from the 1960s iconically seen on key musses for the collection Harry Belafonte and Sidney Poitier.
