Sub Sun × Rhythm Section

Designed by Sub Sun co-founder, Bradley Zero, these strictly ltd frames are crafted from stainless steel and fitted with CR39 lenses.

The SUB-RS takes influence from a vintage French workers frame, transforming it into a versatile contemporary look that fits neatly in the pocket – ready to wear anywhere.

Intricate details are present across the design subtly relating back to the label’s aesthetic without taking centre stage.

As the arm breaks from the front of the frame the trademark Rhythm Section hoops lie subtly alongside the brand’s classic community logo – the holding hands – giving a nod to their Southwark roots. The Rhythm Section and Sub Sun written logos are laser engraved into the frame’s inner arms.

OVER THE YEARS THESE BECAME A SORT OF SIGNATURE LOOK – THEY’D GO EVERYWHERE WITH ME ALONGSIDE USB STICKS AND EAR PLUGS- READY AT A MOMENT’S NOTICE.

NO MATTER HOW FAR I SEARCHED I COULDN’T FIND A MODERN FRAME LIKE IT…

- Bradley Zero

Also included in the package is a custom silk scarf, commissioned by Bradley and designed in Paris by RCA graduate Amalia Laurent – a fine artist who works primarily with print on fine textiles.

The design rolls across the silk giving an immersive feel and portraying a 3d like state. The strictly limited artwork measures 50cm x 50cm and doubles as a handkerchief, scarf, neck tie and lens wipe…if you choose not to frame it!
